Kite Festival

Every spring the local community college has a kite festival.  The area kite club puts on an exhibition.  It's free and it's fun!  We love to take a picnic and enjoy the kites.  This layout is from our first ever trip.

I printed one of the kite pictures on an 8X10 and then put a smaller picture inside the large one with a white border. Rather than using patterned paper, I chose to fill most of the page with photos.

I used some white string across the page and put a few embellishments on to mimic a kite string.

The right page is mostly filled with pics and a bit of journaling.  A simple page for a simply wonderful day.  Springtime around here, means it's time to go see the kites!
