July 16th

Today we were to photograph light.  As a budding photographer one must always consider light, but it was really fun to purposefully capture the light today.

Birth Hour- I once read that for every person there is a point in the day where time seems to stand still.  The author speculated that perhaps it is the hour of your birth.  For me that time is at dusk, which also happens to be the hour of my birth.  I loved capturing the setting sun through the hole in my fence.  

As I was walking around looking for light I saw the sun reflecting off the dryer vent.  It cracked me up that it said HOT.  I snapped away and feel like I caught a fun aspect of the light.

Pathways of Light- I thought the sun shining a path through my yard was gorgeous.  And the sun streaming down just accentuated the beauty.

I chose to photograph light at my favorite time of day, dusk.  For me time really did stand still as I sought out the light around my home.  It was a beautiful birth hour!
