July 4th

Today's challenge at Picture Summer was to capture family traditions.  Although I didn't know for sure what the assignment would be I was hoping these pics I took on the 3rd would fit.  And they did!  Our 4th tradition is to celebrate with family, to have fun, and to laugh lots.  These pics depict that!

This was the shot of the day.  Kids piled in the back of a pickup waving their flags.  Lots of fun was had by all!

I used some Photoshop actions to fix up these photos.  This one uses "Color Pop 2" from the Coffee Shop Blog.  They have AWESOME free actions that you can download.  In a few seconds you too can have amazing looking photos.

I was playing with my f-stop a bit on this one.  I loved that I captured the girls giggling together with their flags.  Such fun!
