Wow, the holidays flew by in a blaze of chaos and family and time at the hospital with Dad. So here is my newest update of all my Picture the Holidays pics. Whew...

Dec 18th ~ Recharge My Battery

...pun intended. :) I recharge by pulling out my laptop and checking email, facebook, favorite blogs, and of course BPC.

Dec 20th ~ Gifts that Shine

The sparkle on this bow caught my eye twinkling in the Christmas lights. I didn't notice until afterwards but I love how the shot fades into bokeh-liciousness. :)

Dec 21st ~ Got Juice?

Since Dad had his stroke he's been begging for juice, any juice but especially mango juice. After 20 days with nothing today he finally passed the swallow test, completely for food and liquids! My attitude did a 180!

I've been cold all day so when the boys went down for a nap I grabbed a cup of hot chocolate a favorite book and some lovely bokeh. :)

My boys and I made these hot chocolate cookies for Santa today. I love how the marshmallows ended up looking like a smile. :)

I'm always filled with enchantment at the Christmas Eve service watching the lights of the advent candles glow while singing my favorite Christmas hymns.

Although I do not celebrate Boxing Day it seemed an appropriate title for this shot. I used my new extension tubes to take some up close photos of an amazon box and tape. Perfect for a day after Christmas shot.

Dec 27th ~ Frost Bite

I thought the frost on this branch was so delectable when seen close up with my new extension tubes. Yay for awesome camera Christmas presents! And a prompt that makes you step outside on a cold frosty morning!

Dec 27th ~ Fresh Air

When I woke up this morning, I saw the world covered in frost and thought it was so pretty. I was excited to try out my extension tubes to see how close I could get. Loved the colors on this rosebush.
