Did you hear me say baby GIRL?? You know what that means don't you? PINK! Not only has telling my story been fun but first I got to use purple, and now...pink! Love love love that!
And where did the layout inspiration come from? You guessed it...Write.Click.Scrapbook! Super simple (and by the way the funniest title I've seen in a long time!)
I used a large 8x10 photo for the left side. I completely fell in love with this pink flowery patterned paper. One of the best parts of a weekend long crop is the chance to use someone else's supplies. A friend with girls had plenty of pink paper for me to choose from!
My bracket border punch made another appearance. Not tired of it yet! :)
I knew I'd need a slightly larger bracket tag since I was going to journal on this layout. Instead of having a separate title I just included it on the journal block.
Another girly moment...glitter and flowers! Love that too!
Once again I called my Mom for details on my birth. I recorded a lot more detail than what I included on my layout. But that's ok because I still have the stories stored on my computer. And this one is the best part anyway. Just reading it brings the image of my father telling it to mind. And that is a gift in itself.
