Week in the Life ~ Tuesday

One thing I've noticed, just two days into this project, is that I am better at following through on my plans for the day during Week in the Life.  I'm less likely to spend my day on the computer and more likely to get out and do some things.  Not that I'm creating activities just for WITL, it's just that I'm more motivated to get stuff done.  Which is probably a good thing!  :)

So here is Tuesday...

My boys woke me up with breakfast in bed.  How sweet is that!!!

They love to spike their hair.  Can you tell they did it themselves?

Obsessed with paper airplanes this summer.

What happens when you let boys make paper airplanes.  Not sure how I'm gonna get these down...

Proof of Residency began today so we headed to Target to buy our school supplies.

Hard for me to believe it's time for 1st grade already!

Lunch out just seemed like a good idea.  Was probably my favorite part of my day!

Both boys chose pizza and salad.  Love this little face!

Much too hot to walk to the mailbox!

During naps I took some time for me to work on my One Little Word project for July.

Then we headed to the pool.  

After dinner my oldest helped with dishes and cleaned the counter.  First breakfast in bed and now this?!? He must be really trying to earn brownie points today!

Reading before bed.  Love this!

This picture just makes me happy! Since I prefer my marshmallows burnt I just step outside to "roast" some up (using a lighter) and then make my s'mores.  Who needs a fire pit?

Mmmmmmmmm...perfect way to end the day!

    I loved reading about your day. Such cute boys you have. I feel the same way about making sure we get up and do something. What a sweet boy to help out and make breakfast too. The marshmallow picture is the best, that's so cool that your doing it just for you. I like mine pretty toasted too but when I can't it's easy just to make one in the microwave. Have a good day.

    Ah thanks Dawn! I think they are pretty cute too, although if you check out the post for Wednesday's pictures you'll see that they weren't quite so cute today! :) I think they used up all their sweetness yesterday. The marshmallow pic is my fav too. In fact it's my desktop pic right now! I've totally been known to use the micro for my s'mores when it's too cold to go outside. But if I can char it that's my preference. tee-hee.
