I love being an Auntie! And I love both my niece and nephew enormously!! But my thankful moment this week involves my niece Belle. Since my sister and her family live 2 hours away from us I don't get to see them quite as often as I'd like. So I'm always excited when my niece and nephew seem to even recognize me.
But this weekend Belle kept coming over to me and raising her arms to be picked up. It just made my heart sing. I've loved her, and Aiden, from the minute they were born. And now she can show that she loves me too! What a thankful moment!
What are you thankful for?
She knows her auntie! We make sure of it! :) Pictures aren't the same, but they are something when the real thing isn't around. So we look at those when we are missing the KC family. She's getting to be such a big girl! Glad she made your day/week. :) Both of my children brighten my day each and every day.
