120 Days {Weeks 6-8}

I'm having so much fun with this Photo Album Scrapbook!  You've seen how I put the book together, and I've showed you the first 2 weeks and weeks 3-5.  Now here we go again with another update on my PAS!

Here are the week 6 spreads.  This was a pretty relaxed week, but such fun to scrap!  Did you notice?  One of these pics made it onto it's own layout recently.  And one has a layout coming up!  Stay tuned!

Since I put together the title pages ahead of time I'm really glad that this blue sky paper fit in with the pictures this week!  Or maybe it was the power of positive thinking that brought on the blue skies!  :)  Lots of time outside!

Remember this picture?  I showed you how to make this collage earlier in the week!  I added some word art by Ali Edwards.

And here's another little collage of outside pics I put together.  I love the way the twine looks wrapped around the journal block.  Adds a bit of color and a cute element to the page.  LOVE!

And now we move on to Week 7.  My youngest headed back to pre-school this week.  I'm loving this shot of him waving bye to his brother as he heads off on the bus.  So sweet!

And here is the Week 7 spread.  Another upright 4x6.  Just so cool!!!

Once again I used emails between my husband and myself as the journaling.  If you want to make your own overlay for photos or journaling see my how to here.  Also snagged some pics of Labor Day BBQ at our neighbors.

But the star of the show this week was my youngest on his first day of school.  How can you not LOVE that smile?!?  Once again I used Ali's Back to School overlays and Hello School brushes.  And he LOVED his first day...but maybe that's because he is the only boy in a class with 4 girls.  :)

And finally we have the Week 8 spreads.  Which means that we are essentially half way through this 120 day separation.  Hooray for that!

This was the week of the new iPhone!  (insert happy giggle here)  So it seemed fitting that my title page pic be of my text to my sister sharing the good news!  :)

We spent the weekend with our friends at a church retreat.  The kids were ecstatic to get to stay in the same room and play together all weekend.  Can you tell they had fun?

And I just had to include some instagram pics.  Cause you know I had to play with some photo apps on my new iPhone!  :)  Come back tomorrow and I'll tell you about the Camera apps that I'm loving right now!

Half way...half way...we are half way!  This album really has been a fun way to document our life while Daddy is away.  Can't wait to see what the next 8 weeks holds!
