Just hung my camera over my shoulder. He paid it absolutely no attention. And I got this awesome shot of my baby waiting for brother to come home. (Look for a layout of this photo this week!)
I love that shooting from the hip created a photo that looks like it's from my son's perspective. You can almost imagine that this is how the house looks to him as he's walking home from the bus stop.
I left the camera on as I got their snacks. Then grabbed a few shots while they ate. Love the everyday pics I captured because they didn't realize I was snapping photos!
Shooting from the hip totally works! I'm so doing this again!
What photo techniques are you loving right now? What is the last photo on your camera right now? Leave me a comment, I'd love to hear all about it!

Great shots, Monica! Shooting from the hip is actually a technique I use often. My kids are usually pretty good about taking photos, but I take so many that they can't be THAT good all of the time-LOL! Not to mention I like the "real life" I get and like you got in your hip pics.
ReplyDeleteThe las pic on my camera was taken this morning as we were leaving a Feed My Starving Children packing party. It is of my girls and their friend in front of the "We Serve" sign that our church posted. Have a great remainder of your weekend! :) ~Jen http://happyplaceforjen.blogspot.com/
Thanks Jen! I totally know what you mean. My kids go through phases where they want to be in pics and where they DON'T! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great last photo! Wonderful thing to take time out to do, and so great that you documented it! Thanks for sharing!
