Today's assignment was to photograph something you collect.  I don't really collect anything.  I struggled with this assignment all day.  Then I started to run a fever :( which really bummed me out.  I finally decided this evening to photograph some beautiful beaded necklaces I have.  I only took a few photos since I wasn't feeling well, but I really like how this one came out.

These necklaces come from an organization called "Bead for Life."  They are a not for profit organization that helps women in Uganda market and sell their beaded jewelry around the world.  The beads are made from recycled paper!  They are gorgeous.  I love wearing them, but I mostly love that my purchase helps eradicate poverty in another country.  What a wonderful feeling!
