Playing Dress Up

Yep, I'm going to do it.  I'm going to share this page I made recently of my BOYS dressing up like PRINCESSES.  And YES I know that someday they will hate that I made this page.  :)  But I also know that I am so happy I did!

Every time we go visit my cousin's family (a house full of girls) my boys end up wearing princess clothes.  And not just dresses...necklaces, earrings, shoes, crowns/veils...the whole kit and caboodle.  And they just laugh and laugh!  And who could resist snapping some pics of that?!?!

For the design I scraplifted myself from here.  Super simple design and love the mix of patterns and color.

I used the top of a simple shipping tag for the beginning of the title and then finished it off with letter stickers.

This tag was perfect for my layout, but unfortunately the blue was a turquoise and didn't match at all.  So I simply cut around the pink part (cutting of the turquoise blue) and then matted it on a piece of blue cardstock that did match.  Simple!

Even though the journaling is short and sweet it tells the story of how my boys love to play dress up!

Ever made a page that you know would embarrass your children?  Have a funny story about your child playing dress up?  I'd love to hear all about it!
